Actor, designer and legendary card sharp, Todd Detwiler, will add "expat" to his resume. The man known as Full Count is bringing fashion sense to the dreary realms of the Eastern Bloc, launching the Czech edition of InStyle. He's probably been so busy figuring out how to tastefully layout "Bridal Gowns for Land Mine Victims" and "What's In Slobodan's Closet?" to post up a reminder of his going away do on the BJx.

So here's a reminder: Todd's going away party is tonight, 9pm, at Solas, 232 9th st. btwn 2nd and 3rd ave.

Spotted at Chelsea's Waterside Park at an all-day, Adidas-sponsored hipster soccer tournament: the BJx's own Seth Kelly, manning the net for Team Complex. And man it, he did, shutting out Kid Robot before we left to stalk the Olsen twin that was in attendance. Also on the premises: Bartfonso, sporting a shaved head for maximum aerodynamic efficiency on his in-house stripper pole.

On July 24th, 2007, at 2:53 p.m., the BJx was born with this post featuring my sculpted physique. Many lessons have been learned since (putting your phone number on the Internet, Olson?!), and many good magazines have died in the process. Now, one year later, it is time to celebrate the BJx's first birthday!
