DVD Buyers Go Hog Wild Over Wild Hogs

Wild Hogs, the surprise box-office hit that took in $39.7 million when it opened last March and went on to gross $168.2 million, roared into the movie rental stores and retailers last week, generating $9.9 million in rentals and outselling its nearest rival, Warner's 300, by nearly 4 to 1, according to Home Media Retail magazine. However 300 continued to dominate on the high-definition disc charts. It is the best selling hi-def disc ever in both HD DVD and Blu-ray formats.

The Freelance Life: Now That's What I Call Editing!

Is working at a successful men's magazine the measure of a true "editor"? I think not! While some of you were busy cutting pages and having health insurance, I went through through my menu collection and weeded out the ones I don't need anymore. That's more rewarding than catching a mistake on the Van Dykes any day of the week!

Condolences to Peking Chef, Doo Zo Sushi, Havana Central and the dozen or so other establishments that didn't make the cut. It's not your fault. When a man's delivery range changes, he's forced to make some difficult decisions.

Question From the Currently Unemployed

Whoops!

For future reference, don't ask Maxim Senior Editor Maria Fontoura what the "biggest zoo in Spain" is. I thought she was Italian!
