In Which I Grade Myself

An excerpt from my old year-end employee self-evaluation I just found on my computer:

I truly believe that encouraging camaraderie is one of my biggest strengths. Whether it’s MCing one of our in-office auctions or organizing a lunch outing, I am always focused on fostering a friendly team atmosphere where everyone gets along.

Wish I could MC another staff auction, Randy!

Too Little, Too Late?

Here's a nostalgia/weird email mashup. Just got this email from the PR guy at Medieval Times, the site of this infamous trip. Note the year on the date of the email he was responding to:

Hey Joey,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Let me know when it is you want to see the show. I noticed it says that you sent this email on Aug. 1, but I just got it this Tuesday.

Talk to you soon,

Ricardo

Hey Ricardo,

For this Sunday, how's 10 people? And what time is the show? And what's the
best way of getting there? There's a shuttle from Times Square, isn't there?
I'm full of questions!

Joey

Looks like the Medieval Times time machine has been taking one too many detours!
