An Honor for the BJx Family!

Hearty congratulations to loyal BJx readers Albert Fert and Peter Grünberg for taking home the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physics.

I can't even count how many times I overheard Dame-O and Full Count talking about your discovery of Giant Magnoresistance, with stupid Rich chiming in about how weak magnetic changes give rise to major differences in electrical resistance in a GMR system. (Duh!)

Note to Professor Gunnar Öquist and the rest of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences: ignore my death threats. You didn't fuck up this year.

This is the BJx's greatest contribution to science since I told the guy who discovered DNA that I didn't read his book!
